You Will Need: To Make these Cookies, you will need

- 2 sticks of butter, softened
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt


 Instructions: Makeda's Homemade Butter Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
